RUSSIA DECLARES “OPERATION FORTRESS” Meteorite Crash Poses Threat

RUSSIA 2-15-13

Army units found three meteorite debris impact sites, two of which are in an area near Chebarkul Lake, west of Chelyabinsk. The third site was found some 80 kilometers further to the northwest, near the town of Zlatoust. One of the fragments that struck near Chebarkul left a crater six meters in diameter. RT

The news is getting strange in Russia and now Cuba.

Amateur videos revealed a huge  bright white light and plume  streaking across the sky, before exploding with an even brighter flash and what Russian onlookers referred to as a “DEAFENING BANG”

Please start here with this video TTD did on the compiled evidence thus far: Several reports and live footage of meteorite crashing into Russia, watch the video:

UPDATE 2-17-13  4:14 PM (CST)

I don’t know that I subscribe yet to the UFO theory yet. But I will make another report and share with you why. I think Russia tested the accuracy of there new and improved nuclear missiles to see if they could detonate a meteorite, because if they can do that, then it means  they can do just about anything. Russia has ALWAYS been ahead of the rest of the world (including the USA’s military) in technology. It is a known FACT.

UPDATE 2-16-13 1:00 AM (CST)
UPDATE: Listening to Coast to Coast and a gentleman called in from Russia, saw the whole thing happen, He is X-military living in Russia for the last decade & he is an American (who married a Russian woman). He said  that what he (and his wife) observed were  two nuclear missiles, and heard the explosions from them as well. He also stated that it RAINED DEBRIS for quite sometime. He said the Russian Military is HUSH HUSH. So Physicist Richard Hoagland wants anyone that was near to call in the show because they want to collect the debris and analyze it all.
The gentleman (from Russia) that called into the Coast to Coast  show at 1:00 AM (CST) said that the supposed METEOR EXPLOSION was louder than anything he had ever heard in his entire life.He also claimed that there were TWO explosions, TWO contrails, and that Russian News is NOT covering it even though there were millions of witnesses.(He said the town of Chelyabinsk is not little at all and has a 1.5 million people population.) He also claimed that there is a NUCLEAR MISSILE SITE, one of the largest in the world and that is the direction that the “missiles hailed from”. Richard Hoagland and George Noory were shocked! He said it was possible that the Russian’s were attempting to shoot something down, but he admitted that this theory didn’t make much sense. For the record, the caller is an American LIVING in Russia.

Police in the Chelyabinsk region are reportedly on high alert, and have begun ‘Operation Fortress’ in order to protect vital infrastructure.

Most of the translations were found to be the following:

Amateur videos revealed a huge  bright white light and plume  streaking across the sky, before exploding with an even brighter flash and what Russian onlookers referred to as a “DEAFENING BANG”.

Some of the General Public reported thinking there was a UFO CRASH, while  others said it felt like an earthquake as their buildings shook, glass windows shattered and blew out of there frames, and others reported it sounded like either a plane or a train crash.

The explosion occurred about 9:20 a.m. (Russian local time), as many people were out and about.

The national space agency, Roscosmos, said scientists believed one meteoroid had entered the atmosphere, where it burned and disintegrated into fragments, according to RIA Novosti.

Here is something that I find very interesting:

Russian space agency Roscosmos earlier admitted they did not track the meteorite that fell near Chelyabinsk, although several other flybys were detected by Roshydromet overnight. “Our ground facilities and, as I understand, those abroad too did not monitor this celestial body, the agency spokesman said.

Wait. Are you serious?

Space agencies around the world did not monitor the debris coming into earths atmosphere? News reports in the USA as well as NASA have  been reporting for the past  year that ” Along with Asteroid DA14 flyby to occur on Friday, 2-15-13 at 2:24 PM EST a possibility of debris as well”.

Are you telling me that Space stations  around the globe can predict the EXACT time and location of the asteroid flyby, but had no idea regarding possible  meteorites crashing to the earth so they did not have a camera on our skies? You do realize that the only photos and live  footage available on the internet is from the general public via cell phones?

Have you noticed that major news outlets in Russia have no LIVE  coverage on the meteorites?

And what about Russian News that reported the following?

CHECK out this video!

“The local newspaper Znak reported the meteorite was intercepted by an air defense unit at the Urzhumka settlement near Chelyabinsk. Quoting a source in the military, it wrote a missile salvo blew the meteorite to pieces at an altitude of 20 kilometers.

Regnum news agency quoted a military source who claimed that the vapor condensation trail of the meteorite speaks to the fact that the meteorite was intercepted by air defenses.

Witnesses said the explosion was so loud that it seemed like an earthquake and thunder had struck at the same time, and that there were huge trails of smoke across the sky. Others reported seeing burning objects fall to earth.”

WHAT is a meteor?

A meteorite is a solid piece of debris from space objects such as asteroids or comets, ranging in size from tiny to gigantic. When a meteorite falls on Earth, passing through the atmosphere causes it to heat up and emit a trail of light, forming a fireball known as a meteor, or shooting or falling star.
